With the start of the new year, we are also pooling our strenghts and amalgamating the companies of the iFD family under the top of iFD GmbH to form a new, high-performance partner for IT-supported intralogistics systems.
With the fusion of iFD GmbH (Chemnitz), DLS GmbH (Chemnitz) and iFD digiplant GmbH (Munich) we are uniting all competence centers of the iFD Group and bundling the entire value chain of our products and services into a single strong brand.
With this, we enable a
▪ uniform and continuous process certification according to ISO 9001:2015,
▪ a centralization and downsizing of our administrative processes
▪ as well as faster and more targeted product and project development,
with that our customers and business partners in particular benefits. Almost 80 employees will support our more than 200 customers with the familiar high quality, competence and passion in operation, development and control of challenging intralogistics processes.
The qualified and proven service is retained for our customers and partner. Your contact persons including all contact details will also remain the same. Our location in Munich remains and will be the office of iFD GmbH. In addition, all employees of the former DLS and digiplant can also be reached by e-mail at the domain @ifd-gmbh.com.
Succession
The merger of the three companies takes place as part of a merger in accordance with §2 No. 1 of the Transformation Act (UmwG). As a result of the merger, iFD GmbH becomes a universal legal successor in accordance with §20 (1) No. 1 UmwG, whereby legal obligations and claims of iFD digiplant GmbH, Munich and DLS GmbH, Chemnitz are completely transferred to them.
Please note that the technical changeover will take place in January 2021 and that communication during this transition phase can take place under the old and/or new company name.
