Many systems.
One intralogistics system. What is planned separately must work together
iFD provides greater structureWhen individual systems need to work together.
In intralogistics, high-performance solutions rarely result from a single system. It is only the interplay between warehouse management, material flow control and conveyor technology that creates seamless processes.
iFD integrates existing systems into a single, functioning unit. Interfaces are reduced, workflows are harmonised and data is made consistently available – from goods receipt to dispatch.
This creates an infrastructure that not only runs smoothly but can also respond flexibly to new requirements.
Individual systems reach their limits during operationIndividual systems perform tasks. Operation brings them together.
In many projects, automation begins with a clearly defined system – such as a warehouse management system, a material flow control system or a forklift guidance system. Each of these systems performs its specific task reliably.
However, during day-to-day operations, these systems do not operate in isolation. Decisions made in one area influence processes elsewhere; data must be consistent across the board; and changes to stock or processes affect multiple levels simultaneously.
As automation increases, the challenge therefore shifts from the individual system to the coordination and alignment between them.
The real complexity does not arise within the individual system, but in the interaction between them.
iFD’s integrated approachAn integrated view of intralogistics.
In practice, warehouse management, material flow control and forklift guidance systems cannot be neatly separated from one another. Processes, data and decisions are interlinked – regardless of which system was originally the focus.
iFD therefore does not view these areas as isolated products, but as functional building blocks of an integrated platform. The aim is to achieve consistent control and data logic that is based on real-world operational processes and can be flexibly adapted to changing requirements.
This results in solutions that are not optimised for a single system, but for the interaction of all relevant components.
It is not the individual system that matters – but how everything works together.
This integrated approach forms the basis of all
iFD solutions – and is reflected in three key product areas.
Three core product ranges – designed to complement one another.
Supplementary modules and systems
Depending on the project requirements, supplementary modules and specialised systems are used. These extend the functionality of the core products and are deployed specifically where they offer the greatest added value.
