The latest version 7.0 of the iFD material flow control software was released at the start of 2023. Along with its new, modern design, the software has also been given a new name. Previously known as iFD MFCS, the software is now called iFD WarehousePilot and has also been given a contemporary logo.

In collaboration with an agency specialising in usability and user experience design, iFD has revamped the existing user interface of the material flow control software. Throughout the redesign, the focus was on greater clarity and an even more user-friendly experience. The new front-end design of WarehousePilot is now based on the latest insights and standards for UI development. Among other things, navigation is made easier via favourites, and quick filters allow users to narrow down the displayed data with just a single click. The list views have been completely overhauled. Further details on list entries can be expanded and displayed with a single mouse click, ensuring even easier access to more in-depth information. The software now features a flexible dashboard for the clear presentation of customer KPIs.

A completely new visualisation system has been implemented, which is now capable of real-time operation thanks to the event-based control system and can be flexibly and easily expanded at any time.

Overall, the new dialogue system in WarehousePilot 7 now enables even more convenient and intuitive operation, further reducing training times for new staff.

We are very much looking forward to our customers’ feedback on the new UI.
