A successful first year: the iFD warehouse management system delivers across the board
The new warehouse management system has now been in live operation at our client Zurbrüggen Wohnzentrum GmbH for a year – and the results could hardly have been more positive. Following a smooth go-live, the solution has been running stably without any issues ever since. The system has proven its worth particularly during periods of high demand.
Black Week passed with flying colours
This year’s Black Week presented the company with enormous challenges: thanks to the high-performance, automated and user-friendly processes of the warehouse management system, all orders were processed on time. 300% more orders were dispatched per day than before the introduction of our warehouse management system. There were no bottlenecks or delays – clear evidence of the robust architecture and the process-specific implementation.
Looking ahead: expansion to another site planned
Customer satisfaction is high. Due to the high process reliability and significant efficiency gains, we are currently exploring the possibility of fully integrating another site into our software environment. This is intended to consistently continue the successful digitalisation of warehouse processes and further support the company’s growth.
Conclusion
One year after implementation, it is clear that the warehouse management system meets all requirements and expectations. The successful handling of enormous order volumes and the consideration of extending the system to additional sites underscore the customer’s confidence in our solution and the partnership that has developed as a result.
