Greater profitability through networking – iFD continues to expand its partner network

News Placeholder2

The partnership between iFD GmbH and Sander Fördertechnik GmbH – the leading provider of industrial handling equipment in south-west and central Saxony – is yet another clear example of the success that can result from the collaboration between two industrial service providers. High-performance Linde forklifts are complemented by iFD GmbH’s innovative forklift guidance system, thereby delivering sustainable reductions in logistics costs.

Together with Sander Fördertechnik GmbH, the forklift guidance system, or iFD-SLS for short, is being positioned and marketed. Through direct, ongoing contact with its customers, our partner immediately identifies potential for improvement on site and can promptly inform them of the significant benefits that implementing a forklift guidance system can bring. Thanks to the synergistic collaboration between the sales teams, enquiries are directed straight to the right people quickly. The approach involves joint customer and presentation meetings, the exchange of experience and expertise, and a tailored solution focused on the client’s needs and the technology employed. This results in significant benefits for our customers and prospective clients, such as:

  • Transparency regarding forklift and goods movements enables demand-driven planning
  • Fast and optimal integration of the mobile client stations into the existing industrial truck fleet
  • The system can also be used in challenging local conditions and integrates both manually operated front-loading forklifts and autonomously controlled equipment.

Specialist knowledge of the products in use and the high quality of the mobile workshop characterise the professional service provided as part of the partnership and give the customer peace of mind.

Numerous practical examples demonstrate the success of this collaboration: for instance, the forklift terminals at Siemens AG in Amberg, a client of iFD GmbH, were installed by Sander Fördertechnik. Through real-time communication with the control centre, productivity is measured in real time and any necessary maintenance measures are quickly identified. Based on this meaningful information, the customer receives a valuable planning basis for further optimising transport control. Both partners actively contribute their core competencies to the partnership and offer the customer forward-looking transport management for the entire forklift fleet.
