IdentPro, a specialist in digital and automated solutions for material tracking in intralogistics, and iFD, a global provider of software systems for automated and manual intralogistics applications in industry and retail, have agreed to collaborate in the areas of forklift guidance systems and the control of tugger trains.

The partnership between iFD GmbH and Sander Fördertechnik GmbH – the leading provider of industrial handling equipment in south-west and central Saxony – is yet another clear example of the success that can result from the collaboration between two industrial service providers. High-performance Linde forklifts are complemented by iFD GmbH’s innovative forklift guidance system, thereby delivering sustainable reductions in logistics costs.

The further development of sustainable technologies is a key priority for iFD GmbH. A central aspect of our innovation strategy is the initiation of and participation in research projects focusing on key trends in intralogistics, particularly those related to Industry 4.0. In doing so, we always place the added value for our customers at the heart of our considerations.

Over the past few months, iFD has been working intensively on the development and implementation of two new SLS modules. Visitors to LogiMAT were already able to get an initial overview of the features. We would now like to present these new features to you in detail.

Since 2011, iFD has been successfully integrating AutoStore systems into its warehouse management system (iFD-LVSS). Following a large number of successful integrations, the resulting functionalities and the interface to AutoStore technology have now been packaged into a dedicated add-on.
