In recent years, the logistics sector in Eastern Europe has developed rapidly. iFD is also benefiting from these developments and is increasingly focusing on expanding partnerships and contacts. The first project on the Russian market was implemented as early as the beginning of 2013.

Since January 2020, iFD GmbH has been able to count a new client from Rhineland-Palatinate among its references. The aim is to modernise the intralogistics at the Herxheim site near Landau.

The next open day at the BA in Glauchau will take place on 7 March 2020. On this day, visitors will once again have the opportunity to find out in detail about all 11 degree programmes in the fields of business and engineering, and to ask specific questions about studying in Glauchau.

Schnellecke Logistics Sachsen, a logistics service provider for the automotive industry, has tested the use of pick-by-vision technology using smart glasses as part of a pilot project at its site in Glauchau.
