iFD GmbH made a significant contribution to the realisation and optimisation of our new distribution centre in Domodedovo. As the largest supplier of office supplies in Russia, it was crucial for us to increase the efficiency of our logistics process and automate the order picking process.

Thanks to iFD's expertise and commitment, the project was successfully implemented. The new distribution centre covers 22,000 square metres of storage space and enables us to handle around 150,000 transport units per day on three levels. The storage and conveyor technology equipment provided by iFD, as well as the IT control system, have made our logistics processes more efficient and significantly expanded our capacities.

In addition, iFD GmbH carried out a complex, multi-layered simulation project with AutoMod for concept development and variant studies for our large distribution centre in Moscow. This involved the development and optimisation of interlinked transport systems for multi-stage order picking, including the control of optimised order picking waves using high-performance sorters.
