Implementation of a warehouse management system with integrated material flow control for an 11-aisle automatic small parts warehouse • Storage and retrieval is carried out using container conveyor technology. The system is used to supply assembly lines on a just-in-time basis. In addition, a vehicle information system with satellite monitoring and route optimisation was integrated for factory traffic between Glauchau and Mosel. Further optimisations guarantee flexibility in route planning. A customised interface was developed for the end customer's host system.
